LP Generation III Bongos have a pronounced shell contour, as well as a larger, 9" Hembra matched with the 7-1/4' Macho which results in a more robust bottom end and greater contrast between the drums. The drums are outfitted with handpicked rawhide heads, Traditional rims, 5/16" diameter tuning lugs, steel backing plates reinforced center block and chrome plated Cuban-style bottoms. *
