In this new volume, the apprentice guitarist is supposed to know his notes in the first quadruple on the first four strings. Here he learns the last notes on the fifth and sixth strings.
Small solo and duet pieces as well as rhythm formulas help to acclimatize these new acquisitions. Then, in the form of short exercises, arpeggios, simultaneous, alternating p i p m, groups of two sounds with i m m a, always punctuated by solos and duets written by our Canadian colleagues Isabelle Héroux, Francois Castet, Claude Gagnon but also Sor, Carulli, Carcassi, etc... Further on, other more difficult techniques are discussed, including slurs and mordents. The end of the book includes many pieces on the fifth quadruple and on displacement, without forgetting the petit barré, the plated chords and the scales. This is a rich and complete method where the music is diversified and interesting - a good companion for the second or third year.
